1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing ateliertati.design (“the Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Atelier Tati provides professional website redesign and “Corporate Identity Revamp” services specifically tailored for architecture, engineering, and boutique law firms.
2. Service Scope: Digital Architecture
The “Professional Website Redesign” is a specialized service involving “Strategic Maintainability” and “Performance Hardening.”
- Planning vs. Execution: We prioritize deep planning and business logic before technical work begins to ensure a structured outcome.
- Technical Proof: We provide “Practice Records” and documentation of our trial-and-error process to ensure professional transparency instead of making exaggerated marketing promises.
3. Intellectual Property & Code Integrity
- Custom Frameworks: Atelier Tati retains ownership of proprietary AI prompts and logical frameworks used during the build process.
- Client Ownership: Upon full payment, the client receives full ownership of the final “Digital Foundation,” including all custom CMS components.
4. Professional Transparency
We do not guarantee “illusory ranking numbers”. We provide a logic-based overhaul designed to improve the “Digital Credibility” and underlying architecture of your firm’s online presence.
5. Client Responsibilities (The “Anti-Chaos” Rule)
The client must provide necessary documentation and stakeholder alignment to resolve “Information Chaos.” Delays caused by a lack of client feedback or “Dinosaur Code” in legacy systems are not the responsibility of Atelier Tati.
6. Limitation of Liability
Atelier Tati is not liable for performance issues caused by the client’s choice to retain “plugin bloat” or legacy infrastructure against our professional advice regarding website acceleration and optimization.
7. Professional Fees & Payment Structure
Atelier Tati operates on a project-based milestone system to ensure “Logical Order” and “Technical Proof” at every stage.
- Direct Engagements: Unless otherwise agreed in a specific Statement of Work (SOW), projects require a 50% non-refundable “Logic & Discovery” deposit to commence work. The remaining balance is due upon reaching the “Technical Handover” milestone.
- Upwork Engagements: For clients engaged via the Upwork platform, all payments, escrowed funds, and milestones are governed strictly by Upwork’s Terms of Service and Dispute Resolution protocols.
8. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because our services involve custom “Digital Architecture” and time-intensive “Performance Hardening,” our refund policy is as follows:
- Logic & Discovery Phase: Once the initial research and planning phase has begun, the initial deposit is non-refundable.
- Post-Deployment: No refunds will be issued once the final website files have been delivered or the site has “Gone Live.”
- Unearned Fees: In the unlikely event that Atelier Tati must terminate an agreement for convenience (without cause), any “unearned” fees for milestones not yet started will be refunded to the client within 30 days.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.).
- Amicable Resolution: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through direct, good-faith communication for a period of 30 days.
- Jurisdiction: Any unresolved legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Taipei City.
